Air Fryer Shishito Peppers are an excellent and healthy side dish or snack! All you need are a few minutes and 2 ingredients, and you’ll be snacking on these tasty peppers in no time.
Whisk the sauce ingredients together a f set aside in the refrigerator.
The peppers
Wash and drain Shishito peppers in a colander. Pat dry with paper towel.
Transfer to a bowl, add oil and ½ of the salt. Toss to combine.
Air fry
Arrange seasoned peppers in the air fryer basket or rack. Set temperature to 400°F / 200°C and air fryer at 400°F / 200°C for 8 to 10 mins
Remember to shake basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
When it’s blistered and cooked, sprinkle the rest of the salt then serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
This was made in a non preheated air fryer.
Do not overcrowd the basket.
The great thing about cooking shishito peppers is that you don’t have to peel them once they’re cooked! Most times, when you cook bell peppers, you’ll then spend a good amount of time peeling off the skin. With these peppers, you don’t have to!
