These air fryer chili cheese dogs are the ultimate cool weather or game day snack. Loaded with gooey cheese and meaty chili, they are sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Add the hot dogs to the air fryer basket and set the temperature to 400°F (200°C).
Cook the hot dogs for 6 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
While the hot dogs cook, get your toppings ready.
Once cooked, remove the hot dogs from the air fryer and place one inside each bun.
Top each hot dog with 2 to 3 tablespoons chili followed by 2 tablespoons shredded cheese.
Place the assembled chili cheese dogs into the air fryer basket.
Cook at 380°F for 2-3 minutes, until warmed through and the cheese melts.
Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
If you want your chili dogs loaded, add some chili inside the buns before adding the hot dogs then top it off with more chili before adding shredded cheese.
