Air fryer bacon wrapped tater tots are some of our favorite bacon wrapped appetizers to make in the air fryer! These frozen potato puffs are super easy to make and requires just 2 ingredients or three if you want to add some cheese to it.
Cut each bacon strip into 3, then wrap each tater tot with bacon.
Arrange bacon wrapped tater tots seam side down in a single layer in the air fryer basket or tray.
Set temperature to 400°F / 200°C and air fryer for 12 to 15 min flipping halfway through to ensure all sides get cooked evenly.
Add more time as needed if you want it more crispy. A minute or two is fine.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Oven instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and place the bacon wrapped tater tots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning once halfway through cooking, until the bacon is crispy and the tater tots are cooked through.
Notes
This was made in a non preheated air fryer. If you preheat your air fryer, it will likely cook a couple of minutes faster than indicated in this recipe.
Bacon shrinks as it cooks so ensure you have this in mind when cutting the bacon. Use your discretion, if you think it won’t stay put, especially if you don’t have toothpicks, cut each rasher into 2 instead of 3 pieces
Don't overcrowd the basket. Cook them in batches if necessary.
Flip the bacon wrapped tater tots halfway through the cooking time to ensure that both sides are evenly cooked and crispy.
You may need to adjust the cooking time depending on the size of your air fryer and the thickness of the bacon.
