In a large bowl, combine the sliced cabbage, sausage, onion, red pepper flakes, bouillon powder, oil, garlic powder, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
Transfer the cabbage mixture to the air fryer basket, spreading it out in an even layer.
Air fry at 380°F for 13 to 15 minutes, tossing with a spatula at 5 min intervals till cabbage is tender and sausage is cooked through.
Serve hot.
Stovetop Instructions
Heat the oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced sausage and cook for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned.
Add the sliced onion and continue cooking for 2-3 more minutes until the onion is slightly softened.
Add the sliced cabbage, red pepper flakes, bouillon powder, apple cider vinegar garlic powder, and black pepper. Toss to combine and coat the cabbage evenly.
Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender but still has a bit of crunch.
