    Easy cinnamon roll bites

Air fryer cinnamon roll bites are the perfect sweet snack or dessert made using convenient canned Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. The air fryer gives these miniature treats a nice slight crunch on the exterior without the need for deep frying.

A Quick Cinnamon roll breakfast is a family favorite that’s perfect all year round and very handy for the holidays. Our Santa cinnamon rolls can attest to that!

Why this recipe is so good

    • Super Simple With just a few ingredients and less than 10 minutes of prep, you'll have warm cinnamon roll bites ready in no time.
    • Perfectly cooked The air fryer gives these bites an evenly baked coating in less time.
    • Oozing with flavor each soft, pillowy bite is filled with a sweet cinnamon sugar filling in every bite.
    • Fun Twist on a Classic: Enjoy your favorite gooey cinnamon rolls in cute, poppable portions for dunking or sharing.

    Ingredients

    • A can of your favorite refrigerated cinnamon rolls. I used Pillsbury cinnamon rolls today.

How to make cinnamon roll bites in the air fryer

This is an overview of the recipe with step by step photos. Scroll down to the end of this post for a printable recipe card with the amount of ingredients and full recipe instructions.

Open can of cinnamon rolls and separate into 8 individual rolls.

Cut each roll into 4 equal bite sized pieces. Transfer the pieces into a parchment paper lined air fryer basket add cinnamon rolls, evenly spaced.

Air fry at 330°F for 6 to 8 minutes until browned and cooked through.

Let cool slightly before drizzling with icing. Enjoy!

What to serve with this treat

These cinnamon bites pair perfectly with

A warm vanilla sauce for dipping

Fresh fruits like strawberries, bananas or some air fryer pineapples and peaches.

A cold glass of milk or hot coffee

    How to store and reheat

Store leftover cinnamon roll bites in an airtight container for 2-3 days. To reheat, place in air fryer at 300°F for 1-2 minutes until warmed through.

Microwaving is another quick reheating option too. Just place in a microwave safe plate lined with paper towel then microwave on medium power at 30 secs intervals until warmed through.

    Air frying Tips

    • No need to preheat the air fryer
    • Do not overcrowd the basket so that these can cook evenly.
    • You can double the recipe but you may need to cook in batches.
    • Because these are bite sized, I prefer to cook them at 330°F (165°F) vs 350°F (180°C) because I prefer the texture I get with the lower temperature better.

    FAQs

Here you’ll find answers to common questions about this recipe. If your question isn’t answered, please leave us a comment below and we’ll gladly answer them.

How long should I cook cinnamon roll bites?

Cook for 6-8 minutes at 330°F (165°F) until the bites are browned and cooked through. Remember to shake the basket halfway through. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.

Can I make these without an air fryer?

Yes, you can bake these cinnamon bites in the oven. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet at 375°F for 12-15 minutes.

What if my cinnamon roll bites are undercooked?

If the interior dough seems undercooked, place back in the air fryer for 1-2 more minutes until fully baked through.

Can I use homemade cinnamon rolls?

Absolutely! Just separate into equal, bite-sized portions then follow the same air frying method.

What do I do if my icing won't drizzle nicely?

Simply microwave the included icing for about 5 seconds to thin it to a drizzling or spreadable consistency.
