How long to cook peaches in air fryer
It took about 10 to 12 mins in my non preheated Cosori air at 380°F/ 190°C to get these to caramelized perfection. However this is a guide as all air fryers are different. If you preheat your air fryer, expect these to cook a bit faster.
The end result is determined by you. After the 10 mins, start checking at 2 min intervals till your desired level of caramelization is achieved.

Wash and dry peaches. Cut peaches into halves and remove the pits.

Add brown sugar and cinnamon to the melted butter. Brush the mixture on the cut surface of the peaches. Some butter sugar mixture will collect in the center but that’s ok.

Air fry at 380°F / 190°C for 5 mins, brush the butter sugar mixture that’s sitting in the middle of the peaches outwards onto the top of the peaches. Continue to cook for another 5 to 7 mins then let it stand in the air fryer for about a minute before serving.
What to serve with
The most popular thing to serve with air fryer peaches is vanilla ice cream or chocolate ice cream. Did you know grilled peaches pair well with these other food with or without the ice cream
- Granola
- Drizzle of honey or maple syrup
- Yogurt
- Add to salads without the ice cream.
- Serve with pancakes or waffles.

How to store and reheat
To be honest I recommend these are eaten the day they are made or max by the next day. If you have leftovers, store in an air tight container and store in that refrigerator without toppings for up to a day. Air fried or grilled peaches don’t freeze well. They become mushy when thawed.
To reheat
Place in air fryer and reheat at 350°F / 180°C till it warms through. You can also reheat in the microwave at 10 secs intervals till heated through.
Air frying Tips
- I recommend salted butter because a bit of salt adds a nice depth of flavor. Feel free to use unsalted butter if you prefer.
- No need to preheat, however if you do, expect the peaches to cook faster than indicated in this recipe.
- For best results use ripe but firm peaches.

Can I air fry peaches?
Yes you can and these taste like they just got off the grill.
What is the best peach for this recipe?
White or yellow peaches work well for this recipe. What you should be looking out for is how ripe the peaches are.
The best peaches for these are those that are ripe but firm, not over ripe peaches that are already too soft. If they are too soft they would be too mushy after air frying.
Can I air fry other fruits too?
Yes you can air fry other fruits like air fryer pears, grilled pineapples, air fried apples and grapefruit. If you can grill it, you can also air fry it.

do you peel your peaches?
Hey Jen,
No I don’t. Thanks for stopping by.
Can you use canned peaches for this
...they look deliciois
Hi Mickey,
I haven’t tried it with canned peaches. Because of the texture of canned peaches it may be mushy. If that’s what you have, you can give it a go. Just make sure to drain the peaches properly and pat dry before brushing With the butter mix and air frying. Hope this helps.
