How long to air fry frozen Arby’s Curly fries?

Arby’s fries took 10 mins in my non preheated Cosori air fry and 7 minutes in my preheated Instant pot vortex pro oven air fryer. This is a guide that shouldn’t be much different from shy air fryer. However start checking yours 2 mins before the stated time and add time as needed.

How to cook frozen curly fries in air fryer

This is literally a dump and air fryer recipe. However, I’ll show you how to make it in my basket style air fryer (Cosori) and my oven style air fryer (instant pot vortex plus air fryer oven)

Making it in the basket style air fryer (Cosori or Gourmia)

Place frozen curly fries in the air fryer air fryer basket. Set temp to 400°F / 200°C. Air fry got 8 to 10 mins or to your desired level of crispy. Serve with your favorite sauce.

How to make it in the instant pot vortex pro oven

This air fryer has automatic preheat. Select the air fry button, set temp to 400°F / 200°C and time for 8 minutes. The air fryer usually takes 3 to 4 mins to preheat making the total time for this recipe to be 11 to 12 mins in the oven air fryer.

While it’s preheating, arrange fries in air fryer rack or tray. When air is ready, slide the tray into the middle rack and air fry for 7 to 8 mins.

    Storage instructions

Air fryer curly fries are best served fresh. They come already precooked and frozen so when you are making frozen curly fries in air fryer, you are basically reheating them.

To avoid having leftovers, It’s best to air fry the quantity you need at at a time.

    Air frying Tips

    • Cook straight from frozen, no need to thaw.
    • Frozen curly fries are already fried so no need to add oil. Some brands come already seasoned, so there’s no need for salt or additional seasoning.
    • I usually don’t preheat my basket style air fryers when making these however my oven style air fryer comes with automatic preheat, so I let it preheat bright adding the fries.
    • Do not overcrowd basket or racks. Cook in batches if needed.

Air Fryer Yum’s Pro Tip! Air fryer temperatures may vary depending on size, make and model. When making a recipe for the first time, start with less time, check for doneness then add more time as needed.

If I had to use a hashtag to describe how I'm feeling right now. It would be #youhaveblessedme .

Today, I was trying to prepare a quick side to have with dinner for my girlfriend, Mer. We had just decided that Arby's Frozen Seasoned Curly Fries would be an ideal side to go with the hamburger patties that my kind father had just hand prepared, and hand delivered to our apartment. (My father is always happy to stop by and surprise us with a gourmet dinner ready to cook, because he knows that I'm really starting to enjoy cooking for Mer (Short for Meranda).) I was ready to go, with my air fryer ready to be taken out of the cupboard and plugged in when I realized the Arby's Fries bag has no instructions on how to air fry the fries. I was taken aback. I mean, it's right there in the name "FRIES". I had to check the calendar. It is indeed 2023 and for years now many (if not most) homes have employed air fryers for of frozen food preparation. I might not have been so surprised if it was fries from some unknown brand, but this is Arby's we're talking about. A company with a market research budget one can only assume is in the tens of thousands of dollars, if not MILLIONS!

Anyway, I had no time to waste. The burgers were already sizzling. A quick google search led me here, to your beautiful website full of step-by-step food preparation guides. I found this recipe and was able to finish our fries just as our patties were done resting. I can't imagine how much less satisfying dinner might have been if I had just tried to wing it and guess how the procedure may have varied from a conventional oven (ancient technology).

Mer and I will be sure to think of this site every time we have curly fries from now on and will be sure to return for more help should any more air fryer conundrums arise.

      #youhaveblessedme

Very thoughtful of you to let me know you found this post super helpful and that it was exactly what you are looking for.

Happy you and Mer enjoyed your meal. A huge thanks to your dad for being an amazing father. Happy new year to you and yours!
