    Making frozen burrito in air fryer is easier than you think. This meat lovers burrito from the refrigerator aisle in Costco was a total game changer for me because it gets ready in the air fryer in less than 15 minutes with a warm cosy fully and well toasted and crispy outside.

    How to reheat frozen burrito in the air fryer

    Place frozen burritos in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Set temperature to 400°F / 200°C and cook till it’s warmed through. Should take about 14 to 15 mins

    Storage instructions

    I don’t recommend storing these after reheating. It’s best to reheat the amount you need at a time to avoid having leftovers

    Air fryer Tips

    • Arrange Burritos in a single layer don’t crowd the basket or put them on top of each other.
    • You can quicken the time by popping it into the microwave for a minute or two to get it slightly defrosted before popping it into the air fryer to finish off the cooking and crispy it up.
    • Flip the burritos over after 10 mins so that it cooks the other Side.

    This will depend on the temperature at which you cook it and wattage of your air fryer. My Cosori air fry and Gourmia basket style air fryers cook these in 14 to 15 mins at 400°F / 200°C

    Do Frozen burritos get crispy in the air fryer?

    Frozen burritos get well toasted and crispy on the air fryer.

    How do you know the Burritos are warmed through?

    The internal temperature should read 165°F / 74°C on an Instant read thermometer. If you don’t have one. Transfer one breakfast Burrito to a plate of with a pair of kitchen tongs, slice it in half and check if it’s warmed through.

    Can you air fry Frozen El Monterey Frozen Burritos?

    Yes you can. Follow the same steps in this recipe to air fry any brand of frozen burritos.

    • 5 Frozen burritos (Any variety; Beef, Chicken, Breakfast, Vegetarian)

    Favorite toppings

    • ¼ Cup Sour cream
    • ¼ Cup pica di gallo

    Instructions
     

    • Remove frozen burritos from packaging , then place burritos in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
    • Set temperature to 400°F / 200°C and cook for 10 mins then gently flip over and cook for another 5 mins. Let it rest in air fryer for another minute before serving.
    • Serve with your favorite toppings

      you can also thaw 1 minute in the microwave, coat with butter and place in the oven broiler 3-5 minutes for crispy toasted burritos.
