Best cheesecake toppings for air fryer red white and blue cheesecake
Wondering what to serve with cheesecake? Well sinc this is a Patriotic cheesecake aka a themed cheesecake recipe you can actually leave it plain. But if you want some toppings, that's ok too. We’ll need to use colors that won’t be too far off from the colors in the cake. Here are our suggestions
- Cherry pie filling
- Blueberry pie filling
- Strawberry pie filling
- Raspberry pie filling
- Fruit compotes would work too
- Sour cream cheesecake topping.
How to store
Cheesecakes will store in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. Make sure your refrigerator is cooling properly
Air frying Tips
- All ingredients should be at room temperature.
- Do not preheat the air fryer. If you used to do so for other recipes do not preheat the air fryer for this red, white and blue cheesecake or any cheesecake recipe.
- If your air fryer preheats automatically, put cake in the air air fryer and let it start baking while it preheats.
- Use no taste food colors so your cheesecake doesn’t have a bitter aftertaste.
- Mix the cream cheese well before adding the other ingredients and mix well after each addition. Remember to scrape down the sides too.
- Divide batter equally. You can eyeball it but make sure you are using the same size of bowls to make it easier to do so.
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 6 hours before digging in (I know it’s a long time but trust me it’s worth the wait.)
