How long to cook canned green beans in air fryer
The cooking time for air fryer canned green beans can vary depending on the specific air fryer model and the desired level of crispiness.
I cook mine in a non preheated air fry at 350°F for 4 to 6 mins. Check on it and add more time as needed.

How to make air fryer canned green beans

- Open the can of green beans and drain the liquid. I recommend you transfer to a colander and rinse under running tap water.
- Transfer drained green beans to air fryer basket or tray and air fry at 350°F (180°C) got 4 to 6 mins. Add more time as needed.
- Toss in melted butter, garlic and black pepper till well coated.
- Serve with your favorite dish.

If you have leftover canned green beans, you can store them in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Simply transfer the green beans to an airtight container and store them in the fridge.
Reheating Canned Green Beans
- Microwave: Transfer the green beans to a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Air fryer: air fry 350°F for 3 mins or until warmed through.
Tips to make the best air fryer canned green beans
- No need to Preheat
- Empty the green beans into a colander. Run it under running water to rinse out the solution. Let green beans drain for about 2 mins.
- Canned green beans are soft and can easily get mushy so rinse gently. That’s why a colander is recommended you don’t need to use your hands. Let’s the running water do the rinsing.
- Shake the beans half way through cooking time.
- Add more time if you want it more crispy
