How long to cook bacon and sausages in one air fryer basket
The length of time it will take to cook bacon and sausage in the air fryer will depend on that size of the sausages. If you are using breakfast sausages, it will cook at about the same time as the bacon which is 8 to 10 mins.
Larger sausages will cook at 12 to 15 mins. So you will need to start cooking the sausages first then add her bacon later.
How to airfry bacon and sausages in one basket

Determine the type of sausages you want to use. The size will determine the length of time so bear that in mind when you choose the sausages.
Place the sausages and bacon in the air fryer set temperature to 400°F / 200°C and cook for 8 mins, flipping half way through to ensure even cooking.
What to serve with this recipe
Bacon and sausages go well with egg recipes like scrambled eggs, poached eggs, egg bites, omelette. You can also serve with fries, salads or just enjoy them on their own
Storage and reheating
To store, let sausages and bacon cool completely before storing in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Reheat in the microwave at 10 secs intervals till warmed through. You can also reheat in the air fryer at 350°F / 180°C for 2 to 3 mins or till warmed through.

- No need to preheat the air fryer.
- Do not overcrowd the basket. It’s ok if the bacon overlaps because it will shrink as it cooks.

How much bacon can you cook at a time in the air fryer?
You can cook up to a pound of streaky bacon aka regular cut bacon at once in the air fryer . This is because bacon shrinks as it cooks. However it’s not recommended to cook a pound of bacon at the same time with sausages.
Can you cook sausages in the air fryer?
Definitely! We do that all the time because it’s so easy and no stovetop babysitting needed.

- 4 Strips Bacon
- Place sausage links and bacon strips in air fryer. Set temperature to 400°F / 200°C and air fry for 8 to 10 mins.
- Remember to flip the sausages & bacon half way through cooking time to ensure bacon and sausages brown and cook evenly on all sides.
- No need to preheat the oven. If you do, cook sausages at less time. Start checking for doneness at 7 mins for fresh sausage links.
- If cooking with an air fryer oven like the instant pot vortex oven cook in the middle rack for a couple more minutes than with the air fryer basket.
- Do not over crowd the basket and be sure to flip the sausages a and bacon half way through cooking time.
