Place the onion rings in the air fryer basket and set temperature to 400°F / 200°C and air fry for 5 to 6 mins.
Storage and reheating
Onion rings are best eaten immediately. However, sometimes we have some leftovers that we need to store. Let the onions rings cool completely then store in a paper towel lined air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
To reheat, transfer to the air fryer basket, set temperature to 350°F / 180°C and air fry for 3 mins or until warmed through and crispy.
Air frying Tips
- No need to preheat if using a Cosori or Gourmia air fryer. The instant pot vortex preheats
- Do not overcrowd the basket, a little overlap is ok.
- No need to thaw. Cook from frozen
- Cook at 400°F / 200°C to ensure it crisps up nicely.
- If the basket is not overcrowded you can get away with not flipping half way through cooking time.
