How long to cook Colored potatoes in the air fryer.
It took about 20 to 22 mins at 400°F / 200°C in a non preheated Cosori dual blaze to cook these to perfection. If you preheat your air fryer, it would likely cook in 18 mins depending on the wattage of your air fryer.
How to make rainbow potatoes in air fryer

Wash potatoes and cut into halves. Pat dry and transfer to a clean dry bowl. Add oil and seasoning to the colored potatoes, toss till potatoes are well coated with seasoning.
Transfer seasoned potatoes to the air fryer basket and air fry at 400°F / 200°C for 20 to 22 mins or until the potatoes are fork tender. Shake the basket at 5 mins intervals to ensure even cooking.

Air fried roasted rainbow potatoes can keep well in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Before storage, ensure it cools completely before storing in a clean and dry container in the refrigerator.
Reheating
Potatoes can be reheated in the microwave or the air fryer. To reheat in the microwave, transfer to a microwave safe plate and microwave on high at one minute intervals till warmed through. If using the air fryer, air fry at 400°F / 200°C till warmed through.
Air frying Tips
- If using whole colored potatoes, cut into cubes or wedges but ensure you cut them evenly. If using rainbow baby potatoes or colored fingerling potatoes, cut in halves.
- No need to preheat the air fryer to cook these potatoes.
- Do not overcrowd the basket.

- Cosori dual blaze air fryer 6.5 qt
- Heat resistant Silicon spatula or spoons
- Mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 1.5 Pounds potatoes
- 2 Tablespoon Olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon Rosemary
- ½ Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon Paprika
Instructions
- Wash potatoes thoroughly, cut potatoes into cubes, wedges or halves if using baby rainbow potatoes .
- Pat dry before transferring potatoes into a clean bowl. Add oil and seasoning, toss to combine.
- Transfer seasoned rainbow colored potatoes into air fryer basket, set temp to 400°F / 200°C and cook for 20 to 22 mins tossing every 5 mins with silicone spatula to ensure even cooking.
- Potatoes are cooked when they are fork tender. Serve immediately with steak, chicken or any side of your chose. (See blog post for more suggestions)
