How long to cook Frozen crinkle cut fries in air fryer
When cooking with an air fryer, bear in mind that cooking times may vary depending on the brand of air fryer, the size of the fries and if the air fryer was preheated or not. Frozen crinkle fries take anywhere from 10 to 15 mins at 400°F (200°C) to cook in a non preheated air fryer.
It typically takes 10 to 12 mins in my Dual blaze and 12 to 15 mins in my Cosori 5.8qt and Gourmia. If you are cooking in batches, subsequent batches will likely cook faster than the first.
How to make frozen crinkle fries in air fryer

- Remove the frozen fries from the packaging.
- Place the frozen crinkle fries in the air fryer basket, making sure they're in a single layer.
- Set temperature to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
- Check the fries for doneness, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes if needed.
- Once done, remove the fries from the air fryer basket and serve immediately.

Frozen crinkle fries in an air fryer can be served with a variety of dipping sauces, such as ketchup, ranch dressing, or barbecue sauce. They can also be paired with baked fish and a variety of sandwiches including a good ol’ Rachel sandwich. Below are some more options.

If you have any leftover crinkle fries, here's how to store and reheat them. First allow the fries to cool completely, then store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
We reheat fries in air fryer often so here’s what to do, place the leftover fries in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F (200°C) for 3-4 minutes, or until heated through.
Can I use my microwave to reheat fries? While you can reheat them in the microwave, they may not be as crispy as when reheated in the air fryer.
Air frying Tips
- Preheating the air fryer is not required however subsequent batches will likely cook faster because the air fryer was preheated while Cooking the first batch.
- Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket. Make sure the fries are in a single layer a little overlap is ok. This will ensure the fries cook evenly.
- Shake the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.
- Check the fries for doneness, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes if needed.
- Most crinkle fries are not seasoned. Season to your taste after air frying.

Yes, you can use fresh potatoes, but they will need to be cut with a crinkle cutter and either soak in water for up to 30 mins or blanched in hot water before being cooked in the air fryer.
No, the frozen crinkle fries already contain oil, so you don't need to add any additional oil.
I don’t recommend that. Stacking the fries will prevent them from cooking evenly. Make sure they're in a single layer. A little overlap is ok.
You can check the doneness by using a fork or tongs to remove one fry and testing it for crispiness and tenderness.
While russet potatoes are the most commonly used for crinkle fries, Alexia has frozen crinkle cut sweet potatoes. If making from scratch, you can use any potatoes or or yams you like.
I haven’t had this experience however to prevent this I recommend using parchment paper or lightly spray some oil on the basket before adding the frozen crinkle fries
You can add other ingredients like air fryer bacon bits, shredded cheese, or garlic powder to the crinkle fries to Make some loaded fries or pub fries.
