How an air fryer works
The air fryer works by circulating hot air rapidly around food as it cooks. This air fryer technology paired with the compact space in which it cooks food mimics the texture of deep fried foods. These types of fries were all made in the air fryer.

Air Fryer Yum’s Pro Tip! Air fryer temperatures may vary depending on size, make and model. When making a recipe for the first time, start with less time, check for doneness then add more time as needed.

Air frying Tips
- You do not need to preheat the air fryer before cooking especially if your air fryer doesn't have automatic preheat.
- Do not overcrowd the basket or tray when cooking. Cook in batches if needed.
- Shake the basket or flip food during cooking at least half way through to ensure even cooking. Some recipes may require you shake 3 to 4 times, so be sure to read through the recipe you are following.
- It's okay to take a peek multiple times to check your food. The only exception would be if you are baking a cake.
