The Dual blaze is Cosori’s 6.8qt air fryer which has become increasingly more popular since the recall. And for good reason, being that it’s bigger and has an enviable dual element feature.
It’s no wonder consumers are gravitating towards it while they wait for their replacement air fryers to arrive.

Air fry: Both the top element and lower element are on high heat.
Bake: The heat on the top element is low while the heat on the bottom element is high.
Broil: The heat on the top element is high while the heat on the bottom element is off.
Roast: The top element is on medium heat while the heat on the bottom element is high.

Air frying Tips for Cosori dual blaze
- No need to preheat the air fryer
- I have found that though the dual blaze does have a dual element it doesn’t necessarily cook faster than the 5.8 I have.
- The upper element is more powerful than the lower element so you will still need to flip certain foods over or shake the basket such air fryer toast, frozen chicken wings, and biscuit bombs.
- You can use the air fryer function for most of your recipes. Though you can use the air fry function to bake like as with all air fryers, the bake function is an advantage as the heating element at the bottom is what is using mimicking baking in a traditional oven.
